Happy Sunday!
Welcome to the first "Sharing Sunday"
From now on, every Sunday, there will be a post like this in this community where you can, as the name implies, share in the comments.
This is basically a chat/bonding sort of thing where you can tell stories about something that happened to you or post a funny picture you saw recently. It doesn't have to be Matt-related, but if it is, that's fine also.
I encourage all of you to get involved in this. Don't be shy! If you're new or looking to de-lurk, this is a great way to introduce yourself and get in on the community action!

I would choose the talent to write a book series whose epic-ness is equal to that of Harry Potter. If I could do that, my life would be complete. And I say that for a lot of things when I'm just exaggerating, but for this I'm 100% serious.
I also think it would be fun to be talented at singing, too. I love to sing. I love the 7 hour drive from home to school because I can sing to myself the whole way. And my voice is okay sometimes, but not amazing. I think it could be if I took voice lessons though. Jenni told me the other day that she can tell I would be a good singer because my voice has a certain lilt to it and she's good at recognizing that in people. I *really* wanted to sign up for voice lessons for next semester, but it's only for music majors and minors. wtf, lame. I'm seriously considering putting music as my second minor so I can do it next fall semester, and then dropping it after the class is done. ;) Ooh, but I want to take guitar lessons, too, so I'd drop it after those were done...

I'm a little late on this but I've been really busy lately and this wasn't one of my favorite episodes. There were so many fantastic moments in the episode though but overall it felt very disjointed but it was adorable and a joyous hour of television nonetheless.

Summary: The Doctor and Rose return to Tombstone, Arizona, site of the gunfight at the OK Corral. This time it isn't the cowboys causing the trouble, but an ancient Hopi Indian spirit. The feud between the Earps and the Clantons is hoting up, babies are dying, spring is late and the Tombstone silver mine has just collapsed.
It's up to the Doctor and his new friends to stop the spirit causing all the problems, and prevent an alien invasion. Because there's a secret buried under Tombstone. And it's waking up.

Sooo life is just so busy lately. I'm really disappointed in myself regarding my lack of blogging, lately. Gonna try to step it up... And I feel like I need to post another obnoxious list someitme soon, 'cause lately all I've been talking about is how I love life, and that can only be interesting for so long, right?
Mi Familia
Yesterday my mom and Jeff came with Holly to see me at school, yaaay I missed them! They’re at my sister’s for the weekend, and I was supposed to go stay the night there last night, but I’m sick so I had to stay here, ‘cause I can’t get baby Holden sick. :( But life was awesome, despite this.
Holly was adorable as usual, and mom brought me a huge bag of wonderful things such as cookie sheets, Carrie Underwood’s new cd, earrings, Taylor Swift’s Fearless platinum edition, Star Trek, Gone With The Wind, my magazines, chex mix, luna bars, a birthday check from my grandpa, and many other wondrous things. It kind of felt like Christmas. Ooh, and Disney pins. I now have 117…. Don’t judge me. And, once again, thank you mother!!!! :)
So we went and picked up my partner in crime [aka Penny] from the Green Festival and we all ate dinner at my favorite crepe place on Haight. So before we ate, we all prayed. Holly said the prayer, she's so cute, she’ll start off really loud and then get more and more quiet til we can’t even hear what she’s saying anymore and we can’t tell if she’s done or not. So then we eat our food and when we’re done eating the guy who owns the place brings us two dessert crepes a la mode and tells us they’re on him! GASP it was so cool. He said it was because in all his years working there, he’d never seen anyone pray before they ate. I inhaled the banana one, and even though I was full I ate it all because it was just so delicious and I am a fatty. Well, Penny helped me, but she would hardly eat any, shame on her. And then right before we left he gave Holly a cookie, too.
This was the first time Penny met Holly, and she, like so many others before her, said Holly should be a child model and/or actor. Oh yes, my niece is a little star. Penny is also the third person who has told me that Holly looks like Taylor Swift when she was little, except with straight hair. Yes, my niece is as cute as Taylor Swift.
Anyways, lesson? Always pray before you eat.
Even if you aren't Christian or whatever, just try it and see if you get free food.
La Tele
Glee was emotional and lovely this week, yes? I loved Sue’s moment with her sister and Kurt’s moments with his father. But oh man I was totally hating on Quinn when she was yelling at Finn for not doing enough for her. I was like, “Uh, its not even his baby and you know it, you cheating slut! Back off!!” And Gossip Girl was awesome, I loved when Jenny got Nate to be her escort, epic win. Totally saw it coming, but still, epic win. Jenny and Blair are my favorite characters. And I absolutely hate Serena. And I just watched Smallville right now and I am LOVING all the Clark-and-Lois-ness going on. And the internet is exploding with anticipation for next Friday… Lois’ crazy dreams are going to be explained finally, yay!
Estoy Enferma
I’ve been sick ever since Wednesday. Wouldn’t matter too much, except for the fact that I’M SO INCREDIBLY BEHIND ON NANOWRIMO ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY. This morning I still had only 13,000 words. By the end of the day, I’m supposed to be at 23,338. Yeah, not gonna happen. I’m just gonna have to shoot for 2000+ every day and see what happens. I wrote a lot this morning so now I’m at 15,301, but uggggggh this is just a *bit* discouraging. Sddjflaksjdlfkjsiehsljef.

I got my ‘Lake Urmia’ poem back from my professor on Monday. He said it was really well written and it read like a folk tale. EXACTLY what I was going for. He also told me when I had my advising appointment with him that I had a really great sense of humor, because he gave me back my short story about the bi-polar schizophrenic and the woman who drunkenly agreed to marry him. That all made me very very happy, of course.

Penny [this girl is magic, I swear] is gonna get me and Kalissa into the Green Festival for free tomorrow! Aw yeah, I’m looking forward to lots and lots of free organic chapstick and chocolate and laundry detergent. And lots and lots of HIPPIES.

A week and a half til I go home for Thanksgiving break! I’m SO excited to see my loves, and my family, and I’m especially excited to see Angel, hahaha. Poor kitty, all alone all these weeks with no one to love her!

So a few weeks ago I discovered that Hugh Hefner’s son is in my American Lit class. I find this just a bit amusing, and I figured if you’re still reading this, you deserved to know that bit of info.
